Day 18 – Commit to Change

We’re back to the Strength & Stretch class today.  This class uses blocks and a strap. If you do not have blocks, use books, and substitute a soft belt for a strap.

I want you to take notice of your body today during this class. Are the poses easier? Do you feel stronger? Are you enjoying the commitment to a daily yoga practice?  How is the fact that you committed making it easier for you to follow through? Write down what happens in these moments and how your body feels after you finish class today.

Committing to change is hard.  Often times I get to a place where I feel a lot better so I give myself permission to stop but that’s the place where I’ve found it’s essential to keep going.  That said, I’m hoping you’re feeling stronger, healthier and perhaps more mentally clear and that you use that as motivation to keep going!  Imagine how amazing you’ll feel at the end!  Keep going, don’t stop now, you’ve got this!
